Application Process

Thank you for your interest in Spring Valley Montessori Academy. Our school is enriched by the families of diverse cultural and ethnic heritages, socioeconomic backgrounds, and experiences choosing to attend SVMA; and we look forward to welcoming you to our family!

Spring Valley Montessori Academy does not discriminate based upon race, color, or national origin in the admission of its students or the employment of faculty or administrative staff. We are a state-licensed childcare facility for two- to five-year-olds.

Policies and Procedures

Students must turn two on or before September 1 to enroll in our fall semester. We accept applications on a first-come, first-served basis, giving priority to returning students and siblings and those requesting full-time enrollment. Priority deadlines for all applications is February 1. (We do accept applications after this deadline, but classes fill quickly and often have a waitlist.) We will notify you of your child’s placement for our fall semester by March 1.

We place all students who are not accepted into our program due to space restrictions on a waiting list. In order to guarantee your child’s spot in our classroom, please submit a deposit within 10 days of being notified of his or her acceptance.

We invite toddlers with a late fall or winter birthday who miss the September 1 cutoff to join us mid-year. Simply submit your completed paperwork and mark *mid-year application* at the top. We will reach out to you when space becomes available.
